Turning a Vision into Reality
Aubri Dillard is the proud co-owner and co-founder of A’s Occasions Decors and Events. One of her most prized talents is that she can develop a theme with innovative ideas and build it into event decor and entertainment that will impress clients and guests.
Her career in event management and design began at a very young age with her passion as a cosmetologist, She later earned her license in cosmetology along with her degree in Computer Information System. Her work in website designing, computer Information systems artists, team builders and executive management helps to bring her own unique expertise to the table, she has such amazing artistry, creative and talents.
Her experience includes managing events designed for professional and other high profile clients. She really enjoys events where the client trusts in the artistic approach to an idea. Her events are always dripping with decor, detail and creativity which always makes the process that much more enhanced.
Her charitable contributions focus primarily on non-profit fundraisers, supporting community leaders and the young in the city by hosting local rallies and free events. This is her way of giving back to the city and community in which she grew up in.

A Perfectionist on Every Detail
All my life I have been involved in entertainment and making others feel right at home -southern hospitality. When I was young my family would host family gatherings at our home on special birthdays and holidays. I grew up around a variety of music,
good food and fun gatherings in which the entire neighborhood would come and enjoy.
I’ve had a pretty adventurous career path. I’ve worked in the areas of publishing, education, business management, leadership, Public speaking, administration and medical fields. I believe that hard earnest work pays off. After high school I was blessed to earn my B.S and M. Ed in Biology and DD. in Ministry. But, for the past 25 years, I found what I was meant to do -- bringing families and friends together. With each event, I’ve established a respected reputation while working with others.
Along with my partner and eldest daughter Aubri, we’ve planned and hosted some of the most memorable celebrations, weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, community events, fundraising and charitable events in our historic city of Selma, Alabama.
My passion for hospitality shows in every event. Along with my team we plan and provide the highest quality services for every client. I oversee all preparations with my team, from cuttingâedge design and production to seamless and flawless implementation, we customize each event to ensure every client gets the same outcome: Awesome!
